Ticketing Technology Forum 2013 Advisory Panel takes shape
The Ticketing Technology Forum 2013 Advisory Panel has been further strengthened with the appointments of Michael Hauser (Managing Director, apareo) and Andrew McManus (IT Director, NEC Group / The Ticket Factory); respectively covering the ‘European Market’ and ‘Live Entertainment Venues’ aspects of the ticketing sector.
Set to be launched in London next March (19-20 March 2013), Ticketing Technology Forum is a high-level networking and knowledge exchange event designed to address the specific needs of key executives engaged in the development of entertainment ticketing solutions.
Organised by Xperiology – the specialist events, training and advisory agency for the sports and entertainment facilities sector – in conjunction with TicketingConsultancy.com, Ticketing Technology Forum’s content, programming and discussions will be guided by the strategic input of a specialist Advisory Panel.
The latest two additions join Simon Klinkhamer (Founder, KB Group UK Ltd) and Jake Grimley (Managing Director, Made Media) who were appointed to the Panel last month.
About the new appointments:
Michael Hauser, Managing Director, apareo
Michael is Founder and Managing Director of mhm consult GmbH; a German based management consultancy for the sports and entertainment industry, specializing in advising on a range of ticketing and new media solutions. He is also Managing Director of apareo; an international startup focused on combining ‘old economy business’ with new digital platforms in the sports, leisure and entertainment sector. Before establishing his corporate consulting firm, he worked for more than twelve years in the ticketing, media and telecommunications industry, with roles at organisations including O2, BMW, telegate AG and Ticket Online. Joining the Ticketing Technology Forum Advisory Panel as our European Market specialist, Michael brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in ticketing, business development, consulting and cutting edge technologies and trends.
Andrew McManus, IT Director, NEC Group
Andrew McManus has over 20 years’ experience in the IT Industry, and is now responsible for all technology matters at the NEC Group. The NEC Group operates and manages two concert venues (the LG Arena and the National Indoor Arena), the UK’s largest Exhibition Centre (the NEC), the International Convention Centre in Birmingham and the Convention Centre in Dublin, as well as an external Catering Business, Amadeus. For the past 5 years, with the adoption of technology within the group increasing dramatically, Andrew’s focus has been on introducing a number of innovative solutions in support of the many live events that use the NEC Group venues. Andrew also works closely with many external live events businesses to integrate their systems into those of the NEC Group’s venues.

Ticketing Technology Forum 2013 will take place in London, 19-20 March 2013.
