PARTNER NEWS: Stage Technologies sponsoring AuditoriumsMeet 2012
Stage Technologies is the latest industry supplier to support AuditoriumsMeet 2012.
Stage Technologies was founded in 1994 as one of the world’s first dedicated theatre automation specialists and became an instrumental player in bringing the extensive benefits of automation technology to the live performance industry.
Today, the Stage Technologies group employs more than 180 automation engineers, manufacturing specialists and support staff, with divisions in the UK, Las Vegas, Macau, Hong Kong, and Australia.
The firm’s current theatre and large venue projects include the expansion of the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) where, along with sister company Delstar Engineering, the company is supplying an innovative moving floor system as part of the additional function space, to help keep the venue at the forefront of global event technology.
“We are delighted to be working with the EICC on their exciting expansion,” commented Matthew Tonks, Business Development Manager, Stage Technologies Group.
“The advanced stage lifting technology being installed will allow for the room to be transformed into a variety of different configurations, including an arena mode, in a fraction of the time required in conventional halls.”

Tonks is looking forward to showcasing Stage Technologies’ range of recent global installations and projects at AuditoriumsMeet 2012 (30 October to 1 November, Edinburgh).
“We are pleased to be a part of the second annual Meet,” continued Matthew. “And look forward to meeting venue owners, operators and developers from around the world, and making many new friends later this year.”
