At Xperiology, we are proud to continue our support for our charity partner, EMERGENCY UK.
During last month’s TheStadiumBusiness Summit Awards 2025 in Manchester, our community’s combined efforts raised more than £3,700 for the charity’s vital work – taking the total raised across our events to more than £25,000.
Our attendees generously contributed £1,522 through the portable donation machines at the Summit – which Xperiology had agreed to fund-match.
Additionally – through the Donations For Nominations campaign – we pledged £5 for every valid entry to TheStadiumBusiness Awards 2025 – raising an extra £685 through 137 entries. Together, these efforts brought the total raised at TheStadiumBusiness Summit & Awards 2025 to £3,729 supporting EMERGENCY who are currently working in war zones such as Gaza.
“The incredible total of over £25,000 raised through Xperiology’s awards and meetings is making a real difference,” said David Lloyd Webber, Managing Director (UK) and International Communications & Development Manager for EMERGENCY.
“The impact made by your sports and entertainment community — through both fundraising and awareness — is extraordinary. You’ve built something really special here, and your ongoing dedication to EMERGENCY’s causes is deeply appreciated.”
BACKGROUND
EMERGENCY provides free, high-quality healthcare to those affected by conflict and poverty. Their sustainable approach includes building healthcare facilities, training local personnel, and conducting search and rescue missions in the Mediterranean Sea. Since 1994, EMERGENCY has treated over 13 million people in 21 countries and currently operates in Afghanistan, Eritrea, Iraq, Italy, Palestine, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Uganda and Ukraine.
We are immensely grateful for the support shown by our attendees and partners this year. Xperiology will continue our efforts at the upcoming TheStadiumBusiness ASIA & TheTicketingBusiness ASIA meetings in October, and we hope to surpass the amount raised in Manchester.
