Xperiology’s TheStadiumBusiness ASIA (#SAS25) and TheTicketingBusiness ASIA (#TAS25) meetings last month in Hong Kong, brought together hundreds of senior executives from across APAC’s venue, ticketing, live entertainment and technology sectors.

Running concurrently against the backdrop of the newly-opened Kai Tak Stadium, the two meetings delivered one shared goal: to connect every part of the live entertainment ecosystem, from venue design and operations to ticketing, touring, promotion and fan engagement.

“Our mission has always been to unite the global sports and entertainment business,” says Xperiology founder Ian Nuttall. “By running these two events side by side, we’re connecting the full value chain, from the developers building the next generation of venues to the ticketing innovators powering fan access and engagement.”

Across the programmes, delegates explored the interconnected future of live entertainment in the region, one where smart infrastructure, data-driven platforms and creative partnerships are transforming how fans experience live events.

Highlights included detailed looks at the Kai Tak Sports Park project – a new benchmark for integrated sports and entertainment districts, alongside sessions examining the growth of Asian (female) fandom, the evolution of live touring, and the rise of localisation and personalisation in ticketing platforms.

From stadium architects and systems suppliers to promoters, rightsholders and technology leaders, attendees found shared ground on how to grow audiences, drive operational excellence and enhance fan experience across borders.

Both events reaffirmed Hong Kong’s growing role as a hub for sports, entertainment and live technology in the APAC region and showcased how Xperiology’s connected event format fosters real collaboration between previously siloed sectors.

“When you bring ticketing, venue design and entertainment content together, you drive genuine innovation,” added Nuttall. “That’s exactly what we saw this year – a connected, collaborative community building the future of live.”

With plans already underway for the 2026 edition, Xperiology continues to bridge industries and geographies, ensuring that the global conversation on live entertainment remains as dynamic and inclusive as the audiences it serves.
