Another year of Premier League football came to its stunning conclusion last weekend, but this season saw arguably one of the greatest domestic achievements ever witnessed in sport.
After spending much of the 2014/15 season stranded in the relegation zone, Leicester City FC pulled off what was a sensational fight back in the final few months to pull off what many believed to be the ‘great escape’. With a renewed sense of optimisim, LCFC had high hopes of sustaining a strong campaign this season (2015/16).
Last weekend, we witnessed something we’re unlikely to see for the next few decades. Playing out one of the most incredible seasons the Premier League has seen, Leicester City FC finished the season as champions for the first time and ten points above Arsenal FC in second.
The ingredients that have been widely acknowledged as the main reasons for their title success are hard work, commitment, determination and working together as a close knit team. And this ethos of working together to achieve success underlines our own meetings.
