Meeting in a meeting: LFP’s Stadia Strategic Committee heading to Nice

We’re delighted to announce that LFP (French Football League) Stadia Strategic Committee (SSC) will host a “meeting in the meeting” at TDS 13 in Nice next month.

The SSC has been formed by LFP to help French clubs, not only those with new stadia built or renovated for the EURO 2016, to develop more business opportunities with their stadia and thus change the French professional clubs business model.

“One of our aims is to bring to our clubs the best practices which are successful in other countries. TheStadiumBusiness events are excellent opportunities for our clubs to learn about those best practices and network with experienced and skilful people from all over the world,” says Alain Belsoeur, Chairman of the SSC.

The delegation from LFP will include representatives from some of France’s top clubs along with officials from the League headquarters.

“It’s great to have the LFP’s support and attendance at our TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Summit 2013 in Nice next month,” says Ian Nuttall. “The SSC is a key element in the league’s development of stadiums as sustainable businesses before, during and after Euro2016. SSC is taking the lead in ensuring safe, sustainable and compelling stadium facilities for France’s future football fans.”
