SITE VISIT: A beautiful stadium for the “beautiful people” of the Riviera

The French Riviera has always been famous for its ‘beautiful people’ and soon they’re going to be joined by one beautiful stadium!

The shapely Allianz Riviera Stadium strikes a lovely figure just outside Nice and TheStadiumBusiness team had the chance to tour the construction site during its second site visit as we countdown to this year’s Design & Development Summit.

“The stadium is amazing… truly beautiful,” remarked Angelina Tennino, Conference Director for TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Summit 2013 during the full-day site visit. “The wood exo-skeleton which supports the roof and façade is a remarkable structure is and a key element of this wonderful building.”

The stadium construction is on track to its scheduled completion in late Summer with final fit-out underway in key conference and meeting spaces.
